How to Set Up an Email Account in Outlook 2003?

1. Click Start, go to All Programs, Select Microsoft Office, and click Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.


If you're asked whether you'd like to open this particular account automatically every time you start Outlook 2003, click Yes (if you do) or No (if you don't). If you don't want to be asked this question again, tick the Always perform this check... box.


2. Start Outlook 2003, go to Tools tab, and click E-mail Accounts...

elect Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.




4. Select POP3 and then click Next.



5. Enter your email account details.

a) User Information

Enter Your Name (as you want email recipients to see it)
Enter your E-mail Address. (e.g.
[email protected])

b) Logon Information

Enter your FULL email address as your User Name. (e.g. [email protected])
Enter your Password (This is the email password set in Email Manager)
Tick "Remember password".




c) Server Information

Enter mail.wcpdemo.com as your Incoming Mail Server (replace wcpdemo.com with your domain name)
Enter smtp.wcpdemo.com OR your ISP's SMTP as your Outgoing Mail Server (replace wcpdemo.com with your domain name)

***Please contact your ISP for the outgoing mail server setting if you are using theirs SMTP.






6. Click Next and then click Finish.
