What is an Extra FTP Account?

One FTP account with default login name is included in all hosting service no matter it is UNIX platform or WINDOWS platform.
If you wish to have additional login name and password to your main FTP account, Extra FTP Account service is neeeded. Extra FTP account is like a private room in a main FTP account; it has its own login name, password and specific location. In other words, an owner can avoide disclosure of his main FTP account information (content and login) while giving his clients or coworkers access to upload/download files through the extra FTP account.
All our UNIX Professional Plan or above include Extra FTP Accounts. *Only UNIX platform users are allowed to change the login name and location of the extra FTP account. |
