How do I get my Authorization Code from the Registrar?

When you transfer your domain, you will need to contact your current registrar to get your domain's Authorization Code (also known as an auth code or an EPP key) and unlock your domain if it is locked.

An Authorization Code is a password assigned by the registrar; it's unique and it's necessary for the domain name transfer.

Please do get the Authorization Code and don't forget to unlock the domain before initiating a domain transfer request.

Some domain registrars provide a self-management tool for their users. For instance, users can request the Authorization Code and update WHOIS contact information in the management panel. If your domain was registrered through a reseller, please directly contact your reseller.
